"I'm actually shocked at any reviews that say the store is understaffed or that the staff don't know things. I live in the neighborhood and this is one of my favorite stores, not just because it's 24/7 and has a variety of things so I can come here for a variety of needs, whether it's because I need to fix a clogged drain or to get Anthropologie style candles. I find that there are always 3-4 people working and one of them is always able to answer my questions. Even though I'm a regular patron of this store, an experience today prompted me to leave a review. I came in wanting to know how to fix a broken tripod that I bought off of Amazon and was just expecting some advice but left with a totally fixed tripod. I walked in and was helped by Ugurkan and someone else (whose name I didn't get yet.) Even though they were both busy with other customers who were actually making purchases, they found time to help me triage what was going on with my tripod and find the right sized screw to hold it together. They did all this free of charge and out of a genuine desire to help -- it was really kind and made my day!!"

"Dismissive, rude, unhelpful. I just came in with a question about a part for a lamp. I was very informative and had the part I needed something similar for to replace. Immediately the guy behind the counter says he can't help, "talk to the lamp manufacturer," and there is "nothing on the open market" to address the problem / get a suitable part. Well, the "open market" a few blocks away, at Lumber Boys, promptly addressed my need with the same information and found a part that works, perfectly. Nothing you all can say alters the fact that a competitor quickly and easily helped me with the same information. When you all told me "nothing" was available. I hope the guy who didn't help me someday encounters a lawyer (which I am), doctor, or similar professional with expertise that he has, but who is equally dismissive and unhelpful. Just so he knows what it's like to be helpless, told there's nothing that can help, etc., when someone can easily help."

"They treat their customers like they don't matter, Especially Lance who was the most condescending person i've ever met in my life! He's just mean and rude to everyone! Not to mention the fact that they act like selling you, something is doing you a favor, no, I'm doing you a favor shopping at your store. Remember that it's called customer service.Don't worry.I'll never do you that favor again!"

"Well what a horrible experience.. Apparently, everybody else is important as a customer but not me, even though I was first in line, the daytime guy the older wife guy mercedes to take four other customers while making me stand there and wait like I don't matter, after having already been rude to me when I asked for plywood, I thought this was a contractor store?????????????? GUESS NOT GO SOMEWHERE ELSE DON'T COME HERE!"

"I stopped by this hardware store which I hadn’t been to in years. They definitely have a lot of inventory to choose from. Wanted to give a special shout out to Roy who was extremely helpful and patient when I was deciding about a certain shade of paint. I didn’t end up buying it (I was too indecisive) but I appreciated the attentive customer service nonetheless."
